ROLE
Susan has been working in healthcare reimbursement for the past decade. She has worked with over 200 provider and payer clients ranging from physicians in solo practice to university medical groups, hospitals, HMOs, CMS and specialty associations.

STRENGTHS
Areas of expertise include reimbursement issues involving Medicare and Medicaid, APC's, bundling, claim coding and filing procedures, fee development and appropriate documentation and charging patterns for most medical specialties.

PROFESSIONAL HISTORY
Prior to joining JR Associates, Susan has had her own reimbursement consulting business focusing on coding compliance audits, continuing education compliance programs as well as developing training manuals on documentation requirements for teaching hospitals, mental health and cancer centers. In addition, Susan was a past employee of the Equitable-Part B Medicare Program where she was responsible for the development of carrier reimbursement policies.

CREDENTIALS
A graduate of the University of New Mexico, Ms. Granucci is a Certified Coding Specialist - Physician Based (CCS-P). She is currently a member of Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA), Association of Community Cancer Centers, Association of Cancer Executives, and the New Mexico Health Care Managers Forum. Susan has authored claims manuals, a regular contributor to the Association of Cancer Executives Update and has written for Cancer Management.
